“Andrea Franz is a Mexican American visual artist and musician from Southern California, and has been based in Mexico City since 2016. In May 2022 she released her first album, Wild Idea, produced by Sergio Acosta, the guitarist of the Mexican rock band Zoé. To promote her album she planned and executed her own tour of 16 shows in México, and the tour keeps growing. Andrea is currently preparing to be the opener for Zoé’s USA winter tour in December 2022 and is booking extra shows to extend her “Wild Idea’ Tour. She calls her music “Sad Pop Rock” because she combines melancholic lyrics with upbeat catchy tunes that express her love for 60’s and 70’s rock music like The Kinks, The Beatles, David Bowie, Queen, Fleetwood Mac”.
